01About these terms

These terms describe the use of the Natural Carbon Works website at naturalcarbon.works, operated by NCW Advisory (ABN 55 158 929 411). References to “we”, “us” and “our” mean NCW Advisory. Natural Carbon Works provides information about biomass, market assessment, sourcing and export readiness, and trade coordination.

For questions about these terms or the website, contact office@naturalcarbon.works. These website terms do not, by themselves, appoint Natural Carbon Works as your adviser or create an agreement to supply services.

02Website information and market context

The website provides general information about our services and industry context. It is not a transaction-specific assessment, legal opinion, tax advice, customs ruling or investment recommendation.

Market data, regulations, charges, certification requirements and supply conditions can change. Published targets are not statements of achieved demand. A rule applying to crude palm oil should not be assumed to apply to palm kernel shells, wood pellets or other products. Product classification, destination and shipment date need separate assessment.

Check the date and original source of published material, and obtain advice appropriate to the decision you are making. We welcome reports of an error and will review them. Nothing here limits our responsibility for statements or services under applicable law.

03Enquiries and service engagements

The enquiry tool opens a draft in your email application. You decide whether to send it. An enquiry, discussion or website description does not confirm availability, pricing or acceptance of an engagement.

Before work starts, the parties should agree in writing on the contracting entity, scope, deliverables, fees, payment arrangements, responsibilities, confidentiality and any cancellation or termination provisions. Those engagement terms apply to the agreed services, subject to mandatory law.

Unless expressly agreed, an engagement does not authorise us to sign contracts, commit funds, purchase or sell commodities, or act as a customs broker or certification body on your behalf.

04Experience and commercial outcomes

Figures on the founder’s experience relate to previous industry work, as indicated on the homepage. They are not a statement that Natural Carbon Works made those shipments.

Involvement in certification processes is not a representation that Natural Carbon Works is an accredited certification body, or that every supplier or product is certified. Certification status must be checked for the particular entity, product, scheme and period.

No market access, shipment volume, certification, financial return or regulatory approval is promised by this website. Any service commitments must be set out in the relevant engagement.

05Responsible use and intellectual property

You may view, print and share links to the website for lawful business or personal purposes. Do not interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorised access, introduce malicious code or misrepresent an association with Natural Carbon Works.

Website text, branding and other material are owned by Natural Carbon Works or used with permission, except where another owner is identified. Seek permission before reproducing our branding or substantial original material for commercial use. These terms do not restrict uses permitted by law or by an applicable third-party licence.

06External websites and availability

Links to regulators, market sources and other websites are provided for reference. Their operators control their content and services. A link does not imply a partnership or endorsement.

We may update the website or interrupt access for maintenance. We do not promise uninterrupted access. Changes to this website do not change an existing service agreement unless agreed through that agreement’s change process.

07Australian consumer rights

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified, including under the Australian Consumer Law.

Where consumer guarantees apply to services, they apply alongside any written engagement. These terms do not impose a blanket “no refunds” rule, waive statutory remedies or require you to accept an unfair contract term.

Any liability or remedy relating to a service will be assessed under applicable law and the valid terms of the engagement. Information about consumer guarantees is available from the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC).

08Privacy, concerns and updates

Our Privacy Policy explains how website enquiries and personal information are handled. An enquiry does not authorise publication of your message as a testimonial or disclosure of confidential project information.

If you have a concern, contact office@naturalcarbon.works so we can try to resolve it. You retain any right to seek assistance from a regulator, tribunal or court with jurisdiction.

We may revise these website terms for future use of the site. The date at the top identifies this version. Updates do not retrospectively remove accrued rights or amend an existing service agreement.
